A free West Hurley Public Library card is available to anyone with a permanent residence in Ulster, Greene, Columbia, Putnam or Dutchess County. Children over the age of four are eligible as well. Just stop at the circulation desk and present valid photo identification with your current address. If valid photo identification is not available, two forms of i.d. may be required, such as a bill or a report card addressed to you. Your Library card is renewable every two years.

Applicants who don’t reside permanently in our library system will also be asked to pay an annual fee of fifty dollars.

Your card allows you to borrow materials from any library in the Mid-Hudson Library System. You can return your materials to any library in the System as well. It also allows you access to the resources provided via the Internet at https://westhurleylibrary.org/reference.

Please note that you are responsible for all items checked out on your card. Call the Library immediately if your card is lost or stolen. Treat your library card like a credit card. Card replacement charge is $2.
