The AARP Drivers’ Safety Class has been around for 35 years and has graduated over 9 million persons since its inception. Graduates will receive a certificate which can be used to save money on insurance or to reduce points on a driving record. This is open to everyone.

Other Information: Please call the West Hurley Library to receive a registration form. 845-679-6405 The cost is $17 for AARP members or $19 for non members. (Bring your AARP card to class to qualify for the discounted rate.) Pre-registration and pre-payment are required and seating is limited. This is a one-day class. 8:30am sign-in.

Red Cross Standard First Aid with CPR/AED

Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR/AED-Adult, which is valid for two years.

Location: West Hurley Library
Date: Saturday, June 2, 2012
Time: 9:00am – 2:30pm
Requirements: Students must be between the ages of eleven and twenty and weigh at least 110 pounds. A permission form and check must be returned to the library by May 28th. After May 28th, we will open this class up to adults. Please call the West Hurley Library to receive a registration form. 845-679-6405
Cost: Because of a grant from Rondout Savings Bank and the Friends Group, students who enroll will only be asked to pay $50 per person. Class size is limited, so sign up as soon as possible.
