About the Artist
Liz Lawrence has lived and worked in the Woodstock area since 1981. She studied at Penland School of Crafts, Parsons/New School, and received her BFA in Ceramics at New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred, New York in 1981. Her work has been featured in Ceramics Monthly Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine, and the Kingston Freeman, among others. She has also exhibited in shows including the American Craft Council Show (Baltimore, MD) and the Ashokan Artisans.
Liz currently teaches pottery classes in her West Hurley studio and is a member of the Hudson Valley Pottery Trail.
